PRODUCTION RATE SHEET

Non-Union Rates

This section is to be used as a guide to estimate the costs of the exact production type you are considering.

Production Types (see below) vary greatly.  Some productions go faster than others and don't require many resources, gear, staff or crew.  Some are very complicated and can go on for days, weeks, months and sometimes, for even years. Some productions require a few crew members to 100's of crew members and other support staff.  Like any industry, Time Is Money!  The more time, staff and resources required to make the kind of production you need elevates the costs as associated with the tasks to complete.  Here are a few production types, for your reference:

Below, is our Production Rates for the Production Types that DOOM can easily accomplish to suit your greatest expectations, and usually from start to finish providing you with a Crew, as needed, and all appropriate Gear, Grip & Electric, Lights and peripherals, as needed. 

COMMERCIALS, INFOMERCIALS & CORPORATE PRODUCTIONS

  $900 per day, per videographer, per camera*, plus $225 per day, per assistant. 

Includes up to 7 hours of "on-your-site" production time, including set-up, breakdown and production time **. The daily, takes (called "Dailies") are recorded to a stable medium and uploaded and/or edited, as needed. 

 

Key = * - After the first camera, any unattended, (static, locked down), extra cameras are $100 each. ​​​​​

           ** - Production Time is the time spent upon arrival to departure, including unloading, loading, set-up and trouble-shooting, as needed.  Note:  7 to 8 production time hours could have hours spent on set-up and adjustment time for the perfect scene/shot. 

DOCUDRAMAS 

   $1,650 per day, per videographer, per camera. 

Includes up to 9 hours of on-site production time, including set-up, breakdown, moves and production time, recorded to a medium ready to upload and edit, as needed.  Light kits, other gear and any Editing / Rendering for publication are extra.

DOCUMENTARIES 

   $1,399.00 per day per videographer, per camera. 

Includes up to 9 hours of studio and/or on-location production time, including set-up, breakdown, moves and production time, recorded to a medium ready to upload and edit, as needed.  Light kits, other gear and any Editing / Rendering for publication are extra.

Excludes our research and/or confirmation of the alleged facts.  However, previously researched and proved facts must be demonstrated to proceed.  Our fact finder's / researcher's fee is typically $175 per hour, if needed and can take up to 30-60 days for factual conclusions.  

ELDER & FAMILY PRODUCTIONS - The Hot, "New," Legacy, Production Type

   $850 per day, per videographer, per camera. 

Includes up to 7 hours of on-location production time, including set-up, breakdown, moves and production time,  recorded to a medium ready to upload and edit, as needed. 

Includes the importing of up to 75 images, their rendering and enhancement for use in the video of the elder and other family photos.

Includes Light Kit and accessories; any other gear, if needed, and any Editing / other Rendering for publication are extra.

FILMS - Indie and Shorts - a nice and large package deal!

   $2,750 per day, per videographer, per camera, plus $65 per hour per support crew member.  Seven(7) day minimal shoot schedule. Call with your budget and/or per day offers.  Film productions are negotiable, especially if the DOOM Crew likes the genre / theme / plot. 

Includes DP / 4k/6k Camera / Camera Operator(s) / 5-6 Prime EF Digital Cinema Lenses / Focus Puller / a camera/general assistant, an Audio Engineer and one Grip.  All other Job Roles are extra.    Note: More than one camera, will require more crew, which is included in the per day rate. 

Includes up to 11 hours/day of location and/or on-set production time, including set-up, breakdown, moves and production time recorded in RAW and saved to a medium ready to upload and edit, as needed.  

Includes our Grip & Electric Truck, up to approximately 3 tons (a $1,200 value): iQ 3500 Inverter Generator+, Lights, Stands, Rags, Doorway Dolly, Cranes Apple Boxes, and much more gear.   

Includes Audio Engineer and all necessary audio components and gear: Mics, Booms, Cables, our 10 channel location/studio  Sound Device Recorder, ect.

Excludes Editing / Rendering, sound effects, music scores, intro / outro Graphics/Credits.

INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTIONS - for Manufacturing Facilities, Large Plants​, Construction Sites, etc...

   $950 per day, per videographer, per camera, plus $55 per hour, per support crew.  (Count on at least two members for these site types.)

Includes  up to 6 hours of on-site production time, including set-up, breakdown, moves and production time recorded to a medium ready to upload and edit, as needed.  Light kits, other gear and any Editing / Rendering for final publication is extra.

Includes  hard hats, safety vests and work boots.

INTERVIEWS

For one host, one subject:

   $1,125 per day per videographer, per camera, plus $55 per hour, per support crew member. 

Includes  up to 7 hours of on-site production time, including set-up, breakdown and production time recorded to a medium ready to upload and edit, as needed.  Light kits, other gear and any Editing / Rendering for final publication is extra.

For one host, 2-3 subjects: add $610/day for extra cameras, plus $75 per hour, per support crew.

For 1-2 hosts,  4-7 subjects: add $760/day for extra cameras, plus $95 per hour, per support crew.

LIVE EVENT PRODUCTIONS - Ballets, Concerts, Debates, Festivals, Sports, Theatricals, etc...

   $1,865 per camera / camera operator, plus appropriate additional production crew ($125 /hour/member and support staff.

Includes  up to 8 hours of on-site production time, including set-up, breakdown and production time recorded to a medium ready to upload and edit, as needed.  Light kits, any other gear and/or Editing / Rendering for publication is extra.

MUSIC VIDEO PRODUCTIONS

   $1,465 per day per videographer, per camera, plus any additional staff required at $75 /hour/member.

Includes  up to 8 hours of on-site production time, including set-up, breakdown, location moves and production time recorded to a medium ready to upload and edit, as needed.  Light kits, other gear and/or Editing / Rendering for publication is extra.

POLITICAL ADS

   $995 per day, per videographer, per camera, plus any additional staff required at $65 /hour/member. 

Includes  to 7 hours of on-site production time, including set-up, breakdown, location moves and production time recorded to a medium ready to upload and edit, as needed.  Light kits,  any other gear and/or Editing / Rendering for publication is extra.

PSA's

   $795 per day per videographer, per camera, plus any additioal staff required at $45 / hour/member. 

Includes up to 8 hours of on-site production time, including set-up, breakdown and production time recorded to a medium ready to upload and edit, as needed.  Light kits, other gear and any/or Editing / Rendering for publication is extra.

STREAMING and WEBCASTING SERVICES - a per hour add-on to any Live Event Video Production

   $72 per hour for Streaming / Webcasting time, plus Production Costs relative to your Production Type. 

Includes up to 4 hours of on-site time, including set-up, breakdown and production time recorded to a medium ready to upload and edit, as needed.  Light kits, other gear and any Editing / Rendering for publication is extra.

TRAINING VIDEOS 

   $795 per day,  per videographer, per camera, plus $55 per hour for supplemental crew and/or staff members.  

Includes up to 8 hours of on-site production time, including set-up, breakdown, location moves and production time recorded to a medium ready to upload and edit, as needed.  Light kits, other gear and any Editing / Rendering for publication is extra.

WEBCASTING and STREAMING SERVICES - a per hour Add-On to any Live Video Production​

   $72 per hour for Streaming / Webcasting time, plus Production Costs relative to your Production Type. 

Includes up to 4 hours of on-site time, including set-up, breakdown and production time recorded to a medium ready to upload and edit, as needed.  Light kits, other gear and any Editing / Rendering for publication is extra.

THE INFO & RATES BELOW ARE APPLICABLE TO MOST PRODUCTIONS,

Less Exceptions

The following four (4) items and their rates below apply to most productions excluding: Films, and Live Events, and others.

Light Kits, Other  |  Gear Editing  |  Rendering  |  Copies  |  Marketing  |  Distribution 

1.   Light Kits, other gear and any Editing / Colorization / Rendering for any production's publication/distribution are extra.

Half Day Rate:

2.   $475 per day, per videographer, per camera, plus $155 per assistant for 4 hours of production time. 

Hourly Rate:

3 $350 first 2 hours, $115 per hour thereafter, per videographer, plus $45 per hour, per assistant.

Post Production - Editing  |  Effects  |  Sound  |  Voice Overs  |  Colorization  |  Rendering  |  Graphics

4 Extra Fees could cost:  $125 to $350/hour for Primary Editor; $55-90 per hour per special assistant, plus costs of any freelancer's services, other services,  file formats, recording medium(s) and quantity (1 to 500+), or for any additional requirements for the final project's delivery.

BUDGETED  PRODUCTION  TIERS

Tier O  -  Ultra Low Budget, but at least 15 days - scheduled* and detailed* - for the shooting of principle cinematography / scenes and production costs budgeted to no more than $2,750,000.00 (Two million, Seven-Hundred fifty-Thousand Dollars / USA). 

Tier 1  -  Budgeted Production Costs of $2,750,001  to  7,500,000 Dollars / USA. 

Tier 2  -  Budgeted Production Costs of $7,500,001  to  11,000,000 Dollars / USA. 

Tier 3  -  Budgeted Production Costs of 11,000,001  to  16,000,000 Dollars / USA). 

Key *  Scheduled and Detailed mean to produce a written script, Call Sheets, Shot Lists, Daily Shooting Schedules, etc.
